Agile Delivery Lead
We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to be the guardian of the Scrum Team!
You will develop, coach, and lead a high-performing and multi-disciplinary team, instilling in them a clear vision and a passionate drive. Your primary responsibility is to facilitate the development of Scrum teams as well as improve their ways of working and agile mindset. As an Agile Delivery Lead you will facilitate agile events, remove impediments, provide coaching to team members and ensure timely and accurate delivery of the roadmap items. Moreover, you will provide feedback and reporting for the team’s status and work progress back to the organization. You will bring new experiences, fresh ideas and creative thinking to support and foster the positive evolution of these practices.
- Key duties and responsibilities
-
• Manage each project’s scope, timeline and cost performance
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events and kept within the timebox: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and ensures the proper usage of tools.
• Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
• Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Work closely with key roles such as Tech Leads, Business Analysts, Product Owners and other business stakeholders, to ensure clarity on requirements and technical excellence.
• Track, report and communicate status delivery, changes in direction, and relevant metrics to avoid misalignment and roadblocks.
• Lead workshops & training sessions to educate individuals on Agile Values, Principles, and Practices.
• Prepare and present reports on progress and success
• Helping find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.
• Represent the scrum teams in scaled, horizontal, or organization level processes and events as needed
- Desired Qualifications
-
• At least 3 years of working experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Actor or Project Manager in a technology environment.
• Previous experience working with teams, using an agile framework (Scrum, Kanban), understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
• Proven experience in leading a team through the various phases in an Agile environment (inception, development, maintenance).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
• Good leadership skills. Able to motivate, support and drive change at a team level
• Good skills in planning, analysis, oral and written communication, consensus building, facilitation, negotiation, and the ability to readily learn a new business area.
• Qualified scrum master from a recognized certification body would be an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, embracing change and driving improvement. Working effectively without comfort zone boundaries
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools would be an asset.
